Meet our Staff

The Rev. Dr. Brian R. Rajcok, PhD is Lead Pastor at St. Matthew. He recently completed his PhD in pastoral counseling at Neumann University, for which he wrote his dissertation on spiritually significant psychedelic experiences. Pastor Brian has an interest in mysticism, the study of consciousness, world religions, and the relationship between science and spirituality. He believes the church’s mission is to promote the spiritual evolution of humanity. Pastor Brian is passionate about centering prayer meditation, nature spirituality, and learning to live in alignment with the divine.

 

Pastor Brian was born and raised in Bethlehem, CT and is a graduate of Nonnewaug High School. He attended Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology. He then enrolled at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN where he earned a Master of Divinity.

 

Pastor Brian served his first call in Cherryville, PA and began ministry at St. Matthew in January 2019 where he focuses on youth ministry, Christian education, and spiritual formation.

 

In his down time, Pastor Brian is a big Red Sox and Patriots fan, loves the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
